T.J. Schmitz Scholarship ($350)

This scholarship recognizes service to TKE by T.J. Schmitz who was the Fraternity's Executive Vice President/CEO from 1973 to 1993. Initiated a Teke at Iota-Omicron Chapter at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, Frater Schmitz was honored with the designation of Executive Vice President Emeritus by the Grand Chapter in 1993. He is a recipient of the Order of the Silver Maple Leaf and Grand Prytanis Awards, and in 1999 received the Order of the Golden Eagle Award. He is a Life Loyal Teke.

Criteria
All of the TKE Educational Foundation leadership and scholarship awards are for the benefit of active members of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.

This scholarship is awarded in recognition of academic achievement with a Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 or higher, and recognizes outstanding leadership within the chapter, on campus, and in the community.
