Responsibilities
As the Director of Alumni Relations for the TKE Educational Foundation, I am responsible for the Life Loyal Teke program, the Annual Fund, portions of the major gift fund, and expansion and management of Area Alumni Associations. The TEF has two full-time paid staff members and several part-time paid staff members, who are shared-employees, which means that they primarily work for the Fraternity. The Foundation is classified as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service, which means that contributions are deductible as charitable contributions. The TKE Educational Foundation raises money for the annual fund, scholarships, educational programs like the TKE Leadership Academy, special projects, and educational grants to the Fraternity.
About Me
I began my collegiate career at the University of Illinois in the Fall of 1998 and was initiated into the Gamma chapter in November of 1998. I held the offices of Social Chairman, Epiprytanis, and Recruitment Chairman. I also worked on the University of Illinois Summer Orientation Staff and held a job as a Zamboni driver for the University of Illinois Ice Arena. In May of 2002 I graduated with degrees in English and Rhetoric and began working for TKE in June 2002.
What I Like To Do in My Free Time
I enjoy watching my favorite teams, like the Fighting Illini and Chicago Bears! I also watch a lot of movies, exercise, and spend time with friends and family.
