Responsibilities
As an Associate Regional Director, I am an ambassador of Tau Kappa Epsilon and the Offices of the Grand Chapter. I promote leadership in, and on behalf of, assigned collegiate chapters, colonies, and interest groups. I will be a leader in growing healthier groups. In addition, I will provide value based programming to the chapters, colonies, and interest groups within my region and educate members in the areas of leadership development, academic achievement, volunteerism, business principles, personal life skills, and risk management issues.
About Me
I grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and attended Northern Michigan University where I received my degree in Outdoor Recreation, Leadership and Management. While an undergrad I was the recipient of the NNU Student Volunteer of the Year as well as the Special Olympics Volunteer of the Year for my region of Michigan in 2005, the same year I was also awarded the Charles R. Walgreen, Jr. Leadership Award from the TKE Educational Foundation.
As a member of the Theta-Iota Chapter, I served as Grammateus, Hypophetes, Epiprytanis, Hegemon, Prytanis, BOA Liaison and held a few chairman positions as well. I am a graduate of the TKE Leadership Academy and have attended a number of RLCs and Conclave during my collegiate career. I also attended the American Leadership Academy in Cabo San Lucas and served the Fraternity on the Collegiate Advisory Committee for two terms.
I joined the TKE staff in the summer of 2007 and am a Life Loyal Teke.
What I Like To Do in My Free Time
I enjoy the outdoors and most activities that get me there. I love camping and getting on the water whether by canoe or motor boat. Within that same area I enjoy photographing all of the places I go and things I do. I also enjoy watching many sports and I will always believe that this is the Lion’s Year to turn it around. I also enjoy watching the Tigers, Pistons, and Wolverines Football. I’m looking forward to having the chance to travel and see the sites across the TKE Nation.
